Shift Alumni
Youyang is a PhD student in the Economics Department at Brandeis University, where her doctoral research specializes in macroeconomic housing markets and consumption patterns. She received a B.A. in Political Science and Economics from Boston College and an M.A. in Political Economy from Georgetown University. Youyang worked at the Bureau of Labor Statistics where she focused on labor market analysis and employment forecasting. From 2024 to 2025 she was a graduate research assistant at Shift.
