Shift Alumni
Carmen Brick is a PhD Candidate in Sociology at UC Berkeley. Her research focuses upon welfare system restructuring and jobs policy during the post-industrial period and has implications for social tax credit programs (like the EITC and CTC) and for guaranteed income and guaranteed jobs proposals. Her other research interests include women’s economic security and the dynamics of low-wage labor markets.
