Beginning with a series of conversations with elected officials and key Colorado stakeholders in the summer of 2021, Shift worked to release a first report on scheduling in Colorado in February of 2022. We presented our results to Colorado legislators in February of 2020. Work scheduling legislation is again under consideration in Colorado and we updated our Colorado report in February of 2023 and again shared our results with Colorado legislators. This work was covered in the Colorado press and Co-PIs Schneider and Harknett published an op-ed distilling the evidence on unstable scheduling in Colorado.
