Dani is a trained sociologist who has dedicated the past decade to researching people’s experiences navigating the medical and social safety net systems in California, with a special focus on Spanish-speaking and undocumented immigrant populations. Dani holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from UC Berkeley. As a grad student she was a researcher for Shift.
