Adam received his PhD in Sociology from UC Berkeley, and is currently Assistant Professor of Management & Organization at Emlyon Business School. His research takes place predominantly at the meso-level, drawing connections between macro-level processes such as the introduction of new technology and measurements, or social movement activism and micro-level processes such as workplace discrimination and meaning-making, often bringing together a wide body of qualitative and quantitative research in Organizational Theory, Organizational Behavior, and Sociology
